The battle of the Systems, XBOX 360 Versus the Playstation 3

I have had a PS3 for about six months, and during one of my recent trips to the neighborhood pawn show (yes I often shop at a pawn shop) I stumbled on a lightly used XBOX 360 for a bargain. I bought it. And now, I bring you the BATTLE ROYALE, XBOX VERSUS PLAYSTATION!

Ok, right off, Playstation is in the lead for one big reason, the ability to STAY ON 24/7/365 without dieing. The XBOX, on the other hand, rewards this behavior with the dreaded RROD, or Red Ring of Death, which indicates a general hardware fault caused by the warping of the mother board and CPU caused by the poor design of the case and airflow. Because of this, I turn my XBOX off whenever I'm not using it, which makes is annoying and less simple.

So far:

PS3                  XBOX

 1                       0

EDIT

The error system for the 360 is opaque, and it is generally fragile, for your help, here is a basic code:

1 red: HDD hardware fault, try turning it off, removing hard drive, replacing hard drive, turning on

2 red: over heating, TURN OFF NOW YOU FOOL LEST YOU RECIEVE...

3 red: your in trouble, general hardware fault, better call Microsoft....

MORE TO COME (I will try to update this nightly when I can't sleep)

  • Much more ignored is the two-light red ring of death, which is... the state of that bricked xbox we have. Where is that, anyway? Does Max have it?

Also, -1 to each console for lack of Pikmin. PS3 0, Xbox -1.
